MDT/Patient REview meeting
Lossless image sharing
Whether to a nearby conference room, for remote consultations, second opinions or multi disciplinary team (MDT) meetings, virtual conferencing for sharing medical images is made possible with InVision.
Live case transmissions in the hospital
Images are shared in lossless quality. In live case transmissions to conference rooms, students or colleagues can follow the live procedure without being present in the procedure room. The audience can ask questions and select what image source to display.

Learn more about InVision
InVision for medical conferencing – multidisciplinary (MDT) meetings and DICOM sharing
For MDT/patient review meetings, InVision works as a DICOM viewer and a video conferencing platform and features synchronized image review with shared playback control. The solution can be installed within the seminar room of the hospital department, enabling various departments or a network of hospitals to have virtual patient review meetings. Synchronized DICOM material can be shared, reviewed and controlled over the hospital’s private network or via the Internet with lossless image quality.
Prepare instantly
InVision can be configured to multiple PACS archives within the hospital giving you fast and easy access to all stored data. One patient can be searched on multiple archives simultaneously and once the required study is found it can be flagged
for virtual review. When a study is flagged, all invited participant hospitals get access to the DICOM files. Importantly, the DICOM-files are distributed to each participant with zero loss in image quality.
Shared playback control
Image playback of the shared DICOM-files is synchronized and the host hospital can pass playback controls amongst participants. This means that patient data no longer has to be transported physically – reducing the risk of misplacing confidential information. Meetings can be held with shorter notice and travelling is no longer necessary, saving both time and money.
During the meeting, the cursor of the hospital in control is visible to everyone. This allows for a controlled virtual review meeting where everybody can get their points across easily. Since each participant has received the entire DICOM file, no compromises are made from the original image quality found on the PACS archive.
Safeguard confidential data
After the virtual patient review meeting or if the meeting doesn’t go ahead, all patient data is automatically deleted from each participant’s system, safeguarding confidential data.
Transfer images
Prior studies and patient data can be transferred to another hospital as needed, in cases where patients are referred.
