For better and for worse, our highly valued co-worker Tautvydas Rindzevicius – Totte – was recently deployed on short notice to contribute in a major project in Kenema, Sierra Leone as a volunteer for Medecins Sans Frontieres.
At Bildteknik, Totte is working with customer service and is responsible for our lab and OR management system BarraQudaTM. In Sierra Leone, he will play a significant role in a hospital construction project.
For us at Bildteknik it is a great loss but we have to carry on without Totte for the remainder of the year. At the same time, we are extremely proud of our colleague, being a committed world citizen, devoted to helping others. We know that Totte will come back as an even more valued workmate with a lot of relevant experience that will add value to the company and our customers.
Totte will be back at Bildteknik in December 2020. In his absence, we are very happy to introduce Josefin Andersson.
Josefin is in the completion process of her education as Biomedical Engineer at Lund University. Josefin has been working with us temporarily during her education. She is now eager to meet the challenges in applying her theoretical knowledge at Bildteknik. Josefin will be the primary resource for BarraQudaTM and also work with customer service in general.
